London Cycling Campaign

Space For Cycling

Founded in 1978, the London Cycling Campaign has lobbied for more than three decades to prioritize bicycles over private motorized transport in London. As an advocacy group with 12,000 members to its name, it strives to make cycling safe and inviting for everyone in its bid to turn London into a world-class cycling city. In order to achieve its aims, the charity runs a series of high profile campaigns. For example, ‘The Love London, Go Dutch’ initiative launched in 2012, called upon the Mayor of London to install continental standard cycling infrastructure and garnered 40,000 signatures on its petition.
