Laia Abril, 25, is a documentary photographer raised in Barcelona. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and studied photography through different workshops and master classes, including at the ICP in New York City. Reed Young · Usa

Reed Young (b. 1982, USA) is a freelance photographer based in New York. After graduating from Brooks Institute in 2005, he was awarded a yearlong residency at FABRICA, the Communication Research Center of Benetton Group in Treviso, Italy. At FABRICA he worked for a number of publications while finding his voice in journalistic portraiture. In March he was selected as one of 2010′s Photo District News’ 30 up and coming photographers to watch.

Matteo de Mayda · Italy

Matteo de Mayda (1984, Italy) is a Senior Art director and photographer based in Venice, Italy. He produced photographic documentaries in an Italian prison and in a Ugandan hospital with different NGOs, later published in National Geographic and on Current.TV. In 2008 Matteo was awarded first prize and a Scholarship at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation of Venice.

Pablo Pastor (San Juan, 1984) studied Film and TV at the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. Since October 2009 he is a resident at FABRICA (Italy), the Benetton Group Communications Research Center, where he developed as a film director. “Never seen the sea” is his debut film co-directed with Bryce Licht.
